Rolf's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Rolf's Story...
Three year old Rolf is a hunk! He has a spectacular physique, all muscles and lovely, huge dachshund paws. He's got a nice schnoz too!

Rolf is a red dapple, which is red with hints of darker red. (One of his parents must have been a dapple, the other a red). He is a standard szie, weighing in at 22 lbs.

He is a sweet, friendly boy. He had been a yard dog in his previous life so he is now learning about life in the house. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and goes out of his way to avoid a fight.

We are told he ignores cats but we have no way of verifying that.

Rolf would love a home with another dachshund, either male or female. He needs a home that will take him on daily walks.

Rolf is now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

His tax deducible adoption fee is $275 If interested, please fill out the online adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rolf, a San Jose Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
