Genie's Story...
GENIE IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA. PLEASE EMAIL: MOMSRESCUE@GMAIL.COM

Hi! My name is Genie and I am an 8 month old lab mix dog. I was rescued from Georgia and I am now living with a great foster family. I live with five other dogs that I love to play with in the yard. I like to run, play with my toys, and help my "mom" with the yard work. I like to supervise her. My favorite things to do are chew on my bones, ride in the car, take long walks, give and get lots of kisses, and run in the yard. I like to play with the cats I live with and I love all people that I meet. I do get a little too excited when I meet new doggy friends. The best thing for me is to take a short walk with them and get to know my new friends. I would love to find my new forever home. I promise that I will be a good girl. I would love to meet you. Please email Diane at momsrescue@gmail.com and she will send you an application. I can not wait!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Genie, a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
