My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a sweet three-year-old brown/black tabby with a beautifully shiny and black-striped coat. She was at a shelter and her time ran out; her owner had turned her in after she had traveled to Virginia all the way from Monterey, Calif. Rosie likes to talk and initially seemed so confused that her owner did her so wrong, but lots of love and reassurance will help her forget. She likes a big, deep litter box. She is playful and likes lots of attention, but she was abused by unattended young children so CANNOT be around small kids under teen age. If you like a chatty cat, Rosie's your girl! But she is cat intolerant and we would in turn assume she is equally dog intolerant, so she needs to be your only pet. She is healthy, smart and beautiful, and would be a doting companion, a lot like a dog, to either a single adult or a couple. She currently eats Eukanuba Weight Control dry food, with a little Fancy Feast chicken as an evening treat.
