ZELLA IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA. PLEASE EMAIL US AT MOMSRESCUE@GMAIL.COM

Zella is a 6 year old spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is a LOVING girl who has tragically and suddenly lost her owner. She is scared and slighly overweight from all of the treats her doting owner gave her, but she desperately wants a forever home where she can be happy cuddling with her owner/s and going for car rides-her favorite thing. She needs a home without small dogs and cats and with lots of love for a loyal, smart companion. She is up to date on all vaccines and comes to her new home with 1 year of heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
Zella is in the Richmond, VA area. Please contact Diane for more information at momsrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zella, a Richmond American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
