Dakota's Story...
Dakota is a wonderful, happy, friendly Chocolate lab. She is 4 years old. Dakota would be great for someone who is retired or works from home. She would do well in a setting where you can take your dog to work, too. Dakota was with one owner for all her life, except the last 2 months. Her need to be where people are made a rehoming necessary, but her owner of the last 2 months is unable to keep her due to health and other issues, unrelated to Dakota. Please give Dakota that home she longs for. She will repay you with devotion and love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Chewelah Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chewelah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chewelah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chewelah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chewelah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chewelah paves the way for another one to be saved.
