My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 6/2/12: Introducing Halo!

Loving home needed for 10 month old shepherd/spaniel mix puppy. Halo is a beautiful, energetic, good natured puppy, but has outgrown his current
family's environment at 70lbs.

The ideal match for Halo is a family/person who loves spending time outdoors as much as Halo does. He loves long walks, running and exploring outdoors. A large fenced in yard would be a plus.

Halo is good with children and other dogs, but due to his size and puppy
energy, is not recommended for households with toddlers. Halo has been
taking lots of puppy training classes, is neutered, current on all shots,
and micro chipped.

Interested in meeting and possibly adopting this dog? Fill-out an online adoption application via www.sadiemaefoundation.org. $300 adoption donation, reference check and home visit are required prior to adoption.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.

Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process
Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals. We don't want them to go through this again. Visit www.sadiemaefoundation.org to learn about the adoption process in detail.
