Update 5/28/12: Buster has had a busy week with getting his toofers cleaned and a couple of them pulled and was neutered on Tuesday. He went thru it all like a real trooper and is now back running and following foster mom everywhere. After getting to know Buster a little better now I can say; he is housebroken, does a little “turn-around-dance” to let me know he wants out; he gets along very well with other dogs and runs around as “part of the pack” but still prefers to follow foster mom around and loves sitting next to or on my lap; is very good on a leash and loves to go for long walks; and he is obedient and very well mannered. Buster would prefer sleeping next to his human but does well when put in his crate at night. If you are looking for a “velcro” companion, then Buster is the pick for you, I laugh and say his name should have been “Shadow” as he is the happiest when he is right beside me.
Initial Bio- 05/15/2012: Hi there!! My name is Buster, I’m 7 years old and I’m in Indiana. I was a nice ladies baby, but she got sick and I heard someone say something about “funerals and missing her very much. “ A good friend of my mommy’s was taking care of me while she was real sick and he let me stay with him. My new daddy tried to love me and do what he could for me, but I heard my new foster mommy tell someone that I “just didn’t have the attention and care a good looking guy like me deserves.” Now I’m confused because I am in a new home, but I heard foster mom say “it is just temporary until I find a forever home.” I’ve got a lot of love to give, any takers out there?
Foster mom here……..Buster is a delightful 7 year old, 7 pound bundle of spunk!! He is being fostered in Westfield, Indiana. His original human passed away and he was then loved by a new daddy. When daddy fell on hard times, he made the difficult decision to surrender Buster so he could have a loving family that has the time to spend spoiling Buster like he deserves. Buster went to the dogter this morning and got caught up on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He was also groomed so be sure and checkout his before and after glamour shots.
