I am already spayed, housetrained, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Delia was found as a pregnant stray on the street and was picked up and taken to the City animal shelter. It was a scary place. But she was transferred to a rescue where she has flourished. Delia is still a little timid when she first meets new people and other dogs. But once she learns that she will be treated with kindness, she will love you forever. If other dogs are friendly to her, she is goofy and playful in reponse. She is a laid-back kind of gal and spends a lot of her time lying around, sleeping, snorting, and snoring. She also likes Kongs and other kind of chew toys that she can lounge around and chew on. She will need to go into a home with very friendly and submissive other dogs. She seems to be okay with cats as long as they are relaxed and friendly towards her. She would do wonderful in a quiet home. Can you help us find this girl the forever home she deserves? FACE and IndyFeral are two like minded organizations who have recently merged to help more cats and dogs in Indianapolis. We are committed to ending pet overpopulation by providing affordable and accessible spaying/neutering as well as wellness services. We also promote adoption, rather than buying or breeding. FACE focuses on owned cats and dogs while IndyFeral seeks to reduce the stray and feral cat overpopulation in Indianapolis through the non-lethal method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), not trap and kill.
All of our cats and dogs available for adoption have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV or heartworm. A simple application for adoption is required and is designed to increase the likelihood that any cat or dog we adopt will have a secure home environment for the remainder of his/her life. The adoption fee is only $100 for dogs and between $50-$75 for cats and includes all of the above. A great deal.
