Precious baby Amber's Story...
This precious little girl, Amber, is not even a year old and she found herself scared and alone in a busy kill shelter. Amber weighs under 10lbs and she can travel in her sherpa bag wherever her person goes. She was lucky to find a friend in one of the volunteers, who carried Amber around like a baby while taking care of things at the shelter. Amber also sat on the desk while the volunteer was entering photos on the computer. So, instead a photo of your dog, you can have a real dog on your desk at work. Amber is very loving and affectionate. She did well with the 8yo boy in her first foster home, she is great with other dogs, big and small. She takes a little time to make friends with new people, but she will bond strongly with her family. Amber is looking for a family of her own to love them forever.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer our sweet baby Amber a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
