April Archer's Story...
April These 2 young girls are sweet, gentle and precious beyond words--just look at those gorgeous eyes, beautiful sleek coat and trusting expressions. We need to reward that trust with a warm and nurturing home. Can you open up your home and heart to one or both of them? If you can rescue/foster/adopt one or both girls please contact us. I promise you that April and Scarlett will return your love and care tenfold. Please take another look at their sweet faces and give us a call or email asap. Note for picture 3: April is just resting up under a tree on a hot spring day, she is not sick or dead as one writer questioned. I included the photo to illustrate how comfortable she is with strangers, even those with cameras! April is a gentle and stunning border collie mix living on the streets and taking good care of her delightful daughter Scarlett. The two have been living alone, outside, near a small bank in Woodland Mills, TN. The two have been fed, watered and watched over by a local business employee. April is a loving, attentive and caring mother, about 25 pounds and 1 year old

Why Adoption is a Great Option

April Archer, a Southampton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
