Levi's Story...
Hi there! My name is Levi. I was surrendered to Happily Ever After in May, 2012 by my previous owners. Since then I have been lucky enough to be in a foster home! My foster parents have reported back to HEA that I am a PERFECT gentleman in the house...most of the time! I am perfectly housebroken and I understand that the furniture is off limits and am perfectly happy to sit at your feet. However, my foster family caught on very quickly that I sometimes like to check out what the people are eating on the counters, and if you happen to leave it close enough to the edge I will be more than happy to help myself to it, thank you very much! I also looooove rawhides very much, sometimes guarding them a little bit, but I have never acted out towards my foster family. I LOVE to run around and play with other dogs almost as much as I love to dole out kisses to people! I am always trying to impress my foster family with my tricks: sit, stay, wait, and my very favorite-SHAKE! I am a really special and handsome guy that could fit in very well into your household! Please consider giving me a chance! Shakes and kisses, Levi

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Marion Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Marion, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
