Andy & Goldie's Story...
"ANDY & GOLDIE" *bonded – must be adopted together*

ANDY Andy is very outgoing and steps up readily. He likes to communicate by singing and chirping. He gets kisses and kisses back. He and the others enjoy their cockatiel mix as well as some tiny pieces of fresh or dried fruit.

GOLDIE Goldie doesn’t like to step up but will do it reluctantly. She’s somewhat standoffish. She puts on a big show of being cage aggressive but eventually steps up and is then fine outside the cage. Goldie actively plucks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy & Goldie, a Tampa Cockatiel was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockatiel for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Cockatiel from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockatiel breeders who help with Cockatiel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
