This is a cat to love!
Wonderful Mommie is a cat to love! And she must have some stories to tell, but these days she is too busy soaking up love and being pampered by her doting foster parents to fill us in. Mommie is especially fond of being brushed, having her tummy rubbed and watching TV snuggled alongside her humans. Life wasn’t always so wonderful. Just a few months ago, she and her 3 young kittens were found at a feral cat trapping site. At the time, Mommie was in pretty rough shape, with wounds on her head, face and side. But no trap was required: on rescue day, she walked right up to the cat trappers, let them pet her, scoop her into a carrier and whisk her off to the vet. Although they planned to—and initially did—release her after she was spayed, Mommie had other ideas and just kept flirting with the humans until they brought her home to foster.
The only remaining evidence of the hardships in her former life is a scar on Mommie's side and the fact that she finds it hard to trust other cats. Given this understandable territorial streak, Mommie should be the only pet in the house.
Please note: Mommie requires a low carbohydrate diet to keep her blood sugar in normal range, and does especially well on EVO dry food or Best Feline Friend’s canned formulas.
