Barney's Story...
Hi - my name is Barney and I'm a wonderfully sweet, laid-back, loving puppy. I love toys, kids, and other dogs. Since I've got some terrier in me, I'm pretty smart and learn things quickly. I'd love to be with a family who will teach me tricks and give me love and attention. If you have another dog I can play with, that would be great, too. I'm a bit quieter than some of my litter mates, and I'm just full of love. If you'd like to know more about me, please call my foster mom, Cathy, at (619) 822-1577 or email her at catherine888@mac.com. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Chula Vista German Shorthaired Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
