Armani's Story...
Armani is a handsome 5 year old well adjusted little guy. He is just a little over weight at 13 pounds but is slowly getting down to his trim summer figure. Armani came from a high kill shelter in Kentucky and his history is unknown. He is very well adjusted so it appears that he was well cared for prior to coming to the shelter. He lives in a household with 5 other dogs and he fits right in with everyone.

Armani is house trained and is quite insistent when he has to go out. He runs in circles and is very vocal until he is let out. He has free run of the house when the family is home and is crate trained when they leave the house and at night. He walks well on a leash and loves his outdoor time. We are undergoing some construction in the house and Armani is not at all bothered by the noise.

Armani would do well as an only dog or with another dog in the house. He loves all people and is very social. He rides well in a car so he would make a great companion for your road trips or running errands.

Armani is a well balanced Yorkie looking for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Armani, a Avon Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Avon, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
