Timmie's Story...
Timmie is about 2 years old. He is a timid boy, but he has come out of his shell quick! He's friendly and affectionate. He gets along great with other dogs! He's house trained and crate trained.
He is learning how to be a happy dog. Toys and being indoors was all new to him! He's learning to walk on a leash and that new people are not scary. It only takes him a few seconds to warm up. He loves playing with other dogs and running around the yard playing chase. He is a very smart boy and is coming along great! When he is scared he will sometimes lay on his back and just lay there until he feels safe again.
Timmy's new family will need to be patient with him as he adjusts since all new things are a little scary for him. Although he has been scared at times he has never shown one sign of aggression and will let us handle him as needed.
He would be a great addition to any family who wants to show a dog how much they love him! Timmie will be at adoption events, please check our website for dates and locations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timmie, a McKinney Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
