James AD. PNDG.'s Story...
James is a full blooded red miniature dachshund. He was pulled from a shelter but we aren't sure how he ended up there in the first place. This boy is so sweet. He is only 2 years old and weighs in at just under 10 pounds. James was quite fearful when he came to rescue but is warming up quickly. He is playful and gets on well with the other dogs in the house.

The adoption fee for James is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James AD. PNDG., a House Springs Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
