This dog is currently fostered in Greenfield, WI

Roxxi is up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative!

Breed/Age: Roxxi is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel/Pug mix.

Size: Roxxi is 28lbs.

Activity Level: Roxxi is a pretty laid back girl. She enjoys a romp in the yard or walk, but comes in the house and settles nicely.

Manners: Roxxi is housetrained, crate trained, understands basic commands, and responds immediately to correction (of which she needs very little).

Foster Family Observations: Roxxi is being fostered with my 2 dogs. She gets along very well with my 55lb. male hound mix, and is very respectful of my little 6lb. senior girl. She's a little love, will try and steal a kiss, and loves belly rubs. She will sit in anticipation of a treat and takes them gently, and she loves watching the chipmunks and squirrels in the yard from the patio door. She's a happy, friendly, low maintenance little lady and she'd fit in to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxxi, a Oak Creek Cocker Spaniel/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Pug for sale in Oak Creek, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Pug dog from a breeder in Oak Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Pug breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
