Emily's Story...
Emily is a young chihuahua girl whose owners rolled down a window and threw her out of the car (after opting to keep her babies and get rid of her). Luckily, someone saw this happen and stepped up for the sweet girl. Ended up figuring out who the owners were, and apparently Emily had babies and they opted to keep those and discard of her like she is trash. She is a doll, she likes dogs and cats, is house broken and in general is just a sweet young girl. Her foster mom loves her, and she is only about 1 year old and about 10.5 pounds. She is spayed, has rabies and a dhpp vaccine, microchipped, and comes with a month of free pet insurance. She is housetrained, and overall really sweet with people (amazing considering her past owners). She is good with everyone she meets and great in a car. If interested in this little sweet thing with a cute little underbite, email: adoptions.recycledpetsnorcal@gmail.com

About Our Rescue Group...
We work to hard to rescue dogs. All dogs will be assessed for training issues before placed. We support our adopters through the whole experience and our commitment does not end when you sign the contract, if additional training and resources are needed we will continue to provide them for the life of the dog. We foster and love our dogs, and so we will not give them out to just anyone. We would be happy to assist you in finding your dream dog, even if it is not with us.
Our Adoption Process...
You will be required to fill out an application before you see the dogs. After we receive your application we will work to schedule a showing for you individually or for a group of people. Home visits are also required for all adopters. Upon approval and confirmation of the adoption, you will have to fill out an adoption contract or foster-to-adopt contract. Generally the adoption fee is $150, but --on occasion-- they may be slightly altered depending on age and need of the dog.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Sacramento Area- because we commit to our animals, we do NOT adopt out of area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily, a Sacramento Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
