Toby's Story...
You can visit with Toby at the Petsmart in Lake Forest, CA. Hi, my name is Toby and I'm 5 years young. My owner lost her job and our home so she made the tough decision to give me up to the rescue. The volunteers take real good care of me but I'm so ready to find my new Forever Home. I'm a sweet, mellow guy and a bit reserved at first but don't let that fool you. I love when the volunteers give me lots of attention and some rubbing under my chin. I'm looking for a home where I can just hang out with you and have some room to run and play. My waistband is expanding a bit since I spend so much time in my kennel at Petsmart. Sometimes I don't always show my best side to visitors because I'm getting a little sad and grumpy being here but I hope you can look past that and know that I'm really a great cat with lots of love to give. Please come and visit with me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
