Rescue Group Info...
We are a small non-profit rescue group comprised strictly of volunteers. We have no paid staff and receive no public funding. All our rescues are in private volunteer foster homes, after being abandoned, thrown away, or removed from unfit situations: we do not operate a shelter. Our commitment is to make the "perfect match" between the dog and his or her Forever Family. Our reward is the love of the dogs and the gratitude of their new families.
All our Available Pets are in private foster homes in Northwest Arkansas; we do not operate a shelter or stationary adoption site. Arkansas residents wishing to volunteer and participate are encouraged to email us for further information. Donations are greatly appreciated and 100% tax deductible, and can be mailed to: OZARK HOMEWARD BOUND, PO Box 155, Harrison, AR 72602-0155
"Til they all have a home"
When you request/submit our NONBINDING application, you'll be interviewed by one of our Board members, then put in touch with the foster family for complete info to be sure you're a good fit for each other. We require that any other pets in your home be neutered & vaccinated. You're under no obligation until you pay your adoption fee. Fees range from $350-$500.00 and INCLUDE spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, veterinary health check and delivery to your state. All health records and neuter/rabies certificates accompany your pet when it arrives.
