Bonnie's Story...
My story: Bonnie is a beautiful little orange tabby who purrs even when you walk into the room. She was born to a feral mom along with her sister Annette. These two beautiful kittens were found living in a drain pipe when they were just a few weeks old. When they were taken to St. Francis, life got a lot better for them. Bonnie loves to be petted, play with her sister, and her toys. She never wants to be in a drain pipe again and really wants to find her purrrrfect, forever home. Maybe that home will be you, and can her sister Annette come too?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
