Hi everyone, I’m Lacy, the apple of Walt‘s eye. I am also a full blooded Blood Hound. I’m almost 6 years young. I track and trail, doing my public duty to find those who have lost their way or have been in harm’s way. My handsome man Walt is the other true love, other than tracking and trailing of course and my story is the same as Walt’s.
We found ourselves being the rescued because our former dad must to have had so much going on in his life that he forgot all about us, as well as ALL the GOOD that we have done for the humans that we have rescued and recovered.
Proper and adequate food was very scarce and fresh water was more like reward than a necessity of life. Our kennel which was very large in size, but was filled with 6 ft. high weeds leaving us only paths to navigate through to get to the front gate or other side. Maybe that’s why he didn’t remember to take care of us, he just couldn’t see that we were in the kennel, until the S.P.C.A. unleashed some good old law enforcement authority on him that the Animal Planet would have been proud to air.
Things are a lot better now. We are in the protective custody of the Gibson - Obion Co. S.P.C.A.
and good food, fresh water, and the much needed exercise is very plentiful, and we have INTERNET!
