Jacob's Story...

"Jacob" is an 8 month old blue/white pocket-pittie who was saved on his last day from Orange County Animal Shelter. He is smaller in size and has a very puppy-like quality about him but based on his teeth he is between 6-9 months in age. He is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his shots. Jacob has started basic obedience and knows to walk on leash, sit, down, come, and drop it. Loves to retrieve and play with toys and is great with people. Jacob is being fostered by a dog trainer and will come with free private training lessons to help transfer the training to his new owner. If interested in Jacob, please call Dana at 714-641-3193. He is currently being fostered in Newport Beach.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacob, a La Habra Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in La Habra, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in La Habra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra paves the way for another one to be saved.
