Pumpkin Muffin's Story...
When I was first rescued by RCAF I was literally digging through garbage when two nice ladies found me -piece of roast beef in my mouth! Fortunately, they brought me inside and gave me much better food then I found myself! My "owner" contacted RCAF a few weeks later, after RCAF took me to the vet and had me neutered, etc and said she lost me and would like me back. RCAF gave me back to her, but unfortunately, a year and a half later, my "owner" moved and dumped me again! :( I'm glad to be back with RCAF. I know they care and will only adopt me to the best home that will keep me forever -they won't take any chances again! I am the most loving little guy ever and am having a great time with my foster brothers and sisters. I'm really a great kitty that deserves a great home that will appreciate the wonderful boy that I am! d.o.b. 3/15/10 I am neutered, current on vaccinations and tested negative for...
The Rainbow Connection Animal Foundation is a non-profit, no-kill, 100% volunteer animal rescue organization which rescues homeless, abandoned, and surrendered cats and kittens and ultimately places them in loving homes. We are also active in and practice Trap/Neuter/Release methods in order to maintain the feral and stray cat population.
WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. WE ARE A SERIES OF FOSTER HOMES.
All RCAF cats/kittens are vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV, treated for parasites, and spayed/neutered. Each animal is placed in foster care and observed and socialized as needed. Adoptions take place in private homes, PETsMART stores, and veterinary clinics.
RCAF relies on donations, adoption fees and volunteer support in order to operate and continue rescuing homeless and abandoned cats.
Rainbow Connection has a 100% return policy which means in no uncertain terms, should the animal become ill, can no longer be cared for by the adopter or is simply no longer wanted, the animal is to be returned to Rainbow Connection. This ensures that this animal will never be homeless again in essence, Rainbow animals have a home forever.
ALL RAINBOW CATS/KITTENS ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Our adoption donation fee is $85 per cat and/or kitten. All donations and are tax deductible.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We share cages with multiple rescue groups at both Great Northern PetsMart and Parma PetsMart.
Our Adoption Process...
All potential homes must request and complete an adoption application. Upon receipt, an applicant will receive email correspondence. Upon pre-approval, he/she will be provided with a phone number for an an adoption screener. If approved, RCAF will schedule an appointment with the applicant to sign our adoption contract and complete the adoption.
