Buddy's Story...
Buddy is new to Midwest Pug Rescue- MN Division! A metro area suburb police department contacted the rescue asking if we would be able to find a great home for this sweet pug. We don't have any background information on Buddy other than he was abandoned. Buddy came to us on Friday, June 8th and is already doing well in his foster home as he is getting along great with the kids. He will go in for

routine vaccinations, heart worm and fecal testing on Monday. Then, on Thursday the 11th Buddy will get neutered. Buddy is a taller pug and during the appointment we hope the vet will be able to give us an approximate age. He is very agile, no greying in the face, and his activity level leads us to believe he is under 4 years old.

Keep checking back for more updates on Buddy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Hinckley Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Hinckley, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Hinckley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinckley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinckley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinckley paves the way for another one to be saved.
