Tom's Story...
DOB approx. 4/13/11 Tom
I am a little heavy on my feet, but I don't notice that I am clumsier than my sister, Ali as we run through the house. My foster mom says I have an instant purr when I get picked up~~I only know I love to be held.
I would love to go to a home with my sister because she knows that when I fall on her in playtime that I did not mean to do it; you see I have a mild case of cerebral hypoplasia so I fall over & run funny, but my sister, Ali, doesn't mind.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Omaha Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Omaha, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Omaha.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Omaha already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Omaha breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Omaha paves the way for another one to be saved.
