Nala's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nala's Story...
Nala is part of a group that we took in when their former owners called us to say they could no longer provide for them properly. They wanted to do right by these dogs and place them into rescue so that they can find new homes who can give them the attention and care they need. Nala is approx 11 months old and is a chiweenie. She has more features of a chihuahua however and is a bit long legged. She is small and compact in size so perfect for your lap! She may weigh 9-10 pounds. She craves attention and is very friendly. She is a very sweet girl! Nala has been around other dogs and children and does well with each. Cats are unknown but more than likely, she would be fine with them as well once she gets to know them. Nala will make a great family companion and is young enough to give you many years of fun! Nala's adoption fee is $175 and will cover her spay, microchip and thorough vetting. If you are interested in giving Nala a permanent home, please e-mail your adoption application and interest or call (352)493-1255-be sure to leave a message and we will return your call! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Chiefland Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Chiefland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Chiefland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chiefland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chiefland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chiefland paves the way for another one to be saved.
