My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diana is not only beautiful puppy to look at but a fun dog to be with. She is very outgoing. LOVES to play!!! Enjoys chasing games with other dogs and doesn't mind to play with her toys. Happy girl. Affectionate and loving. Watchful and buoyant. Not a big barker but she will alert you when the doorbell rings or when there are visitors but then she keeps quiet. She is alert, curious and busy. She is leash trained and seems to be totally housetrained. Rides well in cars. She looks to be a Pomeranian / Toy German Spitz mix.

Due to her age (she is still a puppy at heart) she would do best as playmate for another dog(s). She also enjoys a lot of human attention and is very happy to please. Will make a great pet for an active household where she will be allowed to join in family activities and be part them. She also wouldn't mind to keep you company and lay next to you while you are watching a good movie. Due to her puppy like personality she is not recommended to homes with cats.

Regular brushing is needed to prevent matting. Bathe only when needed. This girl needs to be taken on a daily walk or jog. She will happily company her owners on a 20 mile walk or one mile a day walk.

Diana is a year old and weights 15 lbs. Full grown.

This poor girl was turned in to high-kill animal shelter in GA by her young owner. She received this dog when she was just a puppy as a gift from her boyfriend. Once the puppy got little bigger her owner decided she was just too much trouble and she was not so fun anymore so just decided to get rid of her. Southern HOPE was called when her time was up and she was scheduled to die. Now Diana is getting another chance in life. Please consider her if you have the dedication to provide her with the loving forever home she deserves. In exchange for your love and time she will show you what unconditional love is all about.

Diana is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative. The adoption fee also includes microchip registration. She is current in flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Thank you for your interest in Diana. The rescue who is bringing Diana has the information on Diana's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.

APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.)

If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is June 23-24 at Chester Fairgrounds. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.
