Promise's Story...
Thank you for your interest in Promise who is currently being fostered in CT.

If you are looking for a small, fun and happy dog, look no future than Promise! Her foster mom says this: “Our foster-pup is a hoot - she's silly and fun and makes us laugh. I'm working on basic commands with her a tiny bit each day and she's getting it. She sleeps with one or the other of us - under the covers!!!! She loves to play with the toys we got her and is getting better on a leash. She bounces around like a ping-pong ball, then sits on your lap and nuzzles you. She LOVES to run. Today I rollerbladed instead of walked and she RAN faster than I could blade the entire way - about a mile and a half. Anyway, she loves to play with her toys, is a definite lap/people dog. She's always wherever I am.” Promise was rescued from high kill shelter.Promise's Info...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Promise, a Old Saybrook Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Old Saybrook, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Old Saybrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Saybrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Saybrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Saybrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
