Ginny's Story...
Ginny is an 18 month old female American Pit Bull Terrier; possibly mixed with Vizsla. She has a blondish coat and beautiful AMBER eyes. Her pictures do NOT do her justice. You have to see her to see how sweet and beautiful she really is. Ginny was found on the streets starving and is now a healthy happy girl. She gets along with other dogs; has not been around cats. She is medium sized, just 40 pounds now that she is well fed. Ginny is awesomely good natured and is CRATE TRAINED and HOUSEBROKEN. To make Ginny a part of your family, email her foster mom at petcarebyjoanie@gmail.com or call 832-724-6508. Ginny is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots. Adoption fee $125.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
