My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Castle.

My friend Beckett and I were abandoned when our family moved away six months ago and left us outside to fend for ourselves. Our neighbor has been very good to us by feeding and offering us some shelter, but she couldn't let us in her home due to severe allergies. She repeatedly tried to find homes for us, but unfortunately all the rescues were full and no individuals came forward to offer to take us. She was at her wit's end about what to do when she contacted Carol's Ferals. Lucky for her (and us!), Carol was able to make room for us just in time before the really bad winter weather set in.

I am big, handsome boy with personality plus. A lot of the volunteers say I remind them of a lion because of my size, color, and my attitude...I am a regal cat who isn't afraid to let you know it. I am very vocal and love to share my opinions with anyone in earshot.... whether they want to hear it or not. I'm not a huge fan of other cats but will tolerate them as long as they leave me alone. I would really love to have a home of my own though, where I can be the center of attention. Come meet me and I will let you lavish me with attention.
