Sally's Story...
How could you NOT fall in love with these ears?? Sally is a sweet, playful adorable one-to-two year old Great Pyrenees mix but she won't likely get to be more than 90 lbs or so. Her foster mom describes her as a sweet girl who is a "total tomboy" that likes to roll around in the mud. Sally's best friend is her mastiff foster brother, and she would be just fine in a home with medium to giant breed dogs. She needs a little bit of time to get to know and trust you but once she does, she's a very loving dog (it's likely that someone wasn't very kind to her at some point in her past). She plays with the other big dogs in her foster home and she's been fine with the kids she's met thus far. Sally can't go to a home with very small dogs or cats as it's possible she may want to chase them. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Fort Collins Great Pyrenees/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Great Dane for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Great Dane breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
