My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Well, I sure am one lucky girl because I had almost no hope in that nasty shelter which was held together by plywood and blue plastic coverings. I was so scared but the GREAT lady came by, took one look at me and said you are outta here!! Whew, that was close because I knew I would never get adopted and there was only one other way out! And, I also heard that many of the young puppies drowned at the shelter during a recent flood so being a medium girl, I am doubly lucky to be in my nice foster home.

My foster mom says I am one special little girl. I'm 3-4 years old and really love being in a home with lots of loving people around me. I also would love to have a doggie companion but not too sure about a cat-ugh!!! I'm in perfect health-spayed, heartworm negative, have all my vaccinations and am wormed. I'm a very good girl in the house and really enjoy riding in the car especially going to the bank that gives out doggie goodies!! They are not really too sure of my heritage but have named me an "honorary Golden" because I have such a sweet, happy and loving Golden Retriever personality.

Now that summer is here, I sure would love having my very own family to go to the beach, maybe camping or just hang out with the older children who are home from school.
