**TED**'s Story...
***CROSS POSTING*** For more information on TED, please see contact information below.

TED is a Pointer .He is approximately 6 or 7 years old. He was rescued out of a high kill shelter in Lancaster, Ca. He would be best in a home with big dogs only. He is a great dog. Loves people and big dogs. He is presently boarding at Tender Loving Care Rescue in Gig Harbor, Wa but he is not liking all of his tiny dog companions and really needs a permenant HOME. Ted seems to adjust easily and is a good natured dog. Ted is waiting for his Forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

**TED**, a Kingston Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
