Monica ADOPTED!!'s Story...
My name is Monica and I am an adorable small Llasa Apso. I am full of snuggles and very friendly. I did spend the first years of my life making puppies for a small breeder. They took very good care of my and I always had all my vaccinations, had my teeth cleaned every year or two and I definately know I am a special girl. I think I would fit in great with just about any home and since I am a smaller girl and rarely bark at all I would be an excellent choice for a family who had a condo or apartment where the neighbors might not like a dog who made a lot of noise. I get along great with other dogs and am kind of scared of kitties so I would fit in with a family who already had some other pets.

The breeder that owned me retired and I (and all of the other dogs at the facility) had no where to go and time was running out. Luckily for us the folks at Haven at the Inn were able to find space for us and bring us here to wait until our new families find us!
If you would like to come and meet me you can stop by any day of the week between one and five pm. If you would like to be pre-approved to adopt me you can fill out an application for adoption before you come by. (You can find the application on our website

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monica ADOPTED!!, a Antioch Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Antioch, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
