Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Morina. 1-2 yo Bluepoint Ragdoll.
Morina came to us from an horrific situation, but she has blossomed
into a darling kitty now that's she's in a safe place. We thought she
would never be adoptible when she first came to Rescue, but we've
been wonderfully surprised with her progress. She loves people, and
enjoys other cats. She will even snuggle with other cats and groom
them. Her first introduction to dogs didn't go real well ... for the
dogs. She attacked them! Now she's hanging out with the big dogs and
doing just fine. She might do best in a home with no dogs, or be sure
to introduce her slowly to them. We think Morina would be fine with
older gentle children. She's a sweet, beautiful cat. She will be
fostered in Lincoln CA. You can read her story below:
We got a call from Orange County AC that someone had abandoned 100
cats on one small property. So, our team of energetic volunteers
hopped in our cars and drove all the way down. When we got the
property, we could smell it as soon as we opened the car doors.
Eeewww! Poor kitties. When we got there we discovered that the
previous owners had sneaked out the night before and taken a bunch of
the cats. But, we stayed up for 24 hours straight and trapped the
remaining 50+. They were living in the attic, and the walls and the
crawl spaces under the house. We brought the injured and sickest to
our Vacaville foster center, and the rest are currently boarding at
Cat House on the Kings near Parlier CA. Over time, all of the
remaining cats need to get into foster, or adoptive homes. If you
think you can help by fostering, socializing, or adopting one of
these sweet cats, please let us know. We can really use the help with
a huge undertaking such as this.
