My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howie is a beautiful tan and white foxhound/pointer mix. This sweet boy is very mellow and relaxed, he rarely barks and doesn't jump. Howie does great with kids, other dogs, and cats too! This boy makes an incredible pet, he is so loving and cuddly. Howie's foster mom has been working with him walking on a leash and he has made such a transformation! He doesn't pull anymore and walks right next to you!
Howie has been fully vetted receiving al of his shots, getting dewormed and neutered, and he tested heart worm negative. He absolutely adores being both inside and outside, and would probably do best with a fenced in yard where he can run free but doesn't have a problem being on a runner cable. Howie is has learned "sit" and "paws off" for when he puts his paws on your lap to be petted. He is now learning "stay."
He could be a great running/hiking/walking companion as he loves getting exercised. But at the end of the day all he wants is to have his ears scratched and to get a nice bone or rawhide to chew on. He'll lay down and cross his legs, such a happy pup!
