Alice's Story...
Hola! Como estas? Me llamo Alice! I was surrendered to Happily Ever After in January, 2012, when I was about a year old. My previous family loved me very, VERY much, but had to surrender me to HEA because the family separated and nobody was able to keep me. While I love being at HEA because I have volunteers to play with me and walk me, I miss having a forever family of my own very much! I have a stellar personality and can always be ready for a good play session at the drop of a hat! That being said, I might not be the best addition to your home if you have cats because they don't seem to understand why I always want to play with them! I am the type of girl who is always happy and smiling! While my breed is very unique (especially in Wisconsin), the only additional thing that you would have to do for me is make sure that I have some cozy t-shirts to wear, as human skin oils tend to irritate my skin...and trust me, you will want to be petting me ALL the time! I guarantee, if you find room for me in your home, you will be the talk of the town, as I am the most unique gal around! Hasta luego! XO, Alice

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Marion Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless for sale in Marion, or seeking a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless breeders who help with Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
