Bit's Story...
Bit is a one year old neutered male who has a best friend named Kittie. Both cats were turned into the shelter by an elderly couple who had no other choice. These cats have never been outside and are lost at the shelter. Both cats are friendly to people, but are not comfortable around other animals and children. Please help me get these animals into a good, loving home before it is too late.

Act quickly to adopt Bit. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bit, a Union Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Union, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
