Sookie is a sweet, calm, female Shepherd mix. Sookie will just still your heart with her sad eyes. Sookie is shy when you first approach her but just say a few kind words to her, give her a treat, pet her gently and she will wag her tail to let you know she appreciates your kindness. Sookie has not had a very nice life up until she came to Furry Kids' Refuge but she is adjusting well and learning that people can be kind & gentle & trust-worthy. Due to her shyness, Sookie would do best in a home with no children under 12 years old. Sookie can jump a 4ft fence so she will need a home with a good tall fence to keep her safe.
Sookie has been spayed, heart worm tested negative, vaccinated, micro chipped and her $150 adoption fee also includes a 2 week trial to help ensure everyone's happiness. Please fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on 'Adopt a Dog' and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch. Thank you for your interest in Sookie.
