Tia's Story...
Tia came to LPBR with 2 little puppies from a high kill shelter. She was a great mom and now her babies are adopted and it is Tia's turn to find a forever home.
Tia is about 3-4 years old. She obviously was neglected in her previous home. She has an imjury to her back leg that went untreated and now is semi usable. But Tia doesn't let that stop her. Tia is a very sweet girl, she adores children and people, walks well on a leash, she is housebroken, crate trained and gets along with other dogs. She is a true lap dog and would love to have a home where she can be a princess, she deserves her time now. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tia, a Houston Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
