Bella's Story...
Bella is a spayed female Weimaraner/lab/pit mix. She is about a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. Bella is a stray who wandered onto the property of an animal lover who has been fostering her. She is very social with adults, children and other dogs. She loves to ride in the car and walks well on her leash, although she does pull a little. Bella is very smart and has shown good manners in the house. Bella will be a great addition to a family looking for a smart, pretty, energetic house pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Richmond Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
