Denny's Story...
Hi I'm Denny! I'm the sweetest puggle. I was found as a stray in Compton! I have no idea how I ended up there. I was scared at the shelter, but these nice ladies saved me on my last day! Yay! I went to the vet and I'm completely healthy so I'm ready for a forever home. I'm around 5-6 years old which is great because I'm mellow, already have all that puppy energy out. I love to cuddle and long walks in the park. Please give me a forever home!

Denny is a mellow six year old brown neutered male Pug mix who was found in Compton on May 13th and brought to the Downey Animal Care Center. Weighing twenty-seven pounds, Denny walks well on leash and has an amazingly calm energy. This serene older gentleman has had a rough life recently but he gets along well with other dogs and we think he will be good with kids. Denny will make a magnificent indoor pet for a senior citizen or anyone in any living situation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Denny, a Poway Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Poway, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
