My story

Hi! I'm Lester - I'm a sweet shy chihuahua. Look at my ears! Cool huh? I read once that the star of Beverly Hill Chihuahua was found at a shelter and I was hoping for my big break but no such luck for me. I was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. And I was put on the LIST! Not the red carpet list but the death list. Luckily the nice ladies at Pugs N Roses came to save me on my last day. I was taken to the vet where they took away my manhood. But hey, anything for a forever home right? I'm ready to love you. I like to cuddle and give kisses. Are you my new family?

Lester is a cuddly year old tan and white male Chihuahua who was found in Huntington Park on April 17th and brought to the Downey Animal Care Center. Weighing seven pounds, Lester walks okay on leash and is well socialized. He has a wonderful disposition and gets along well with other dogs. Lester has the cutest ears that you have to see to believe and will make an ideal companion and lapdog for a senior citizen, as well as a wonderful pet for an adult family or individual living in an apartment.
