Georgia's Story...
Georgia is a sweet, shepherd mix female who is about 6 months old. She is crate trained and is working on housebreaking. She LOVES other dogs and kids and is a playful puppy. She weighs just over 20 pounds so it is becoming clear that this girl is not going to be a huge adult dog. Our adoption fee is $250 and we only allow in-state adoptions in Georgia. The adoption fee includes spay, microchip and all vaccines. To find out more on our adoption requirements and submit an application, please visit www.youluckydogrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Alpharetta Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
