Shepherd Mix Female's Story...

This litter of three cuties came from a family that had both the mom & the dad but never got them fixed. They needed help so we took in both the puppies and the mom Maxine. They were born on April 10, 2012.

These puppies are all very social and loving and have been thriving in their foster home. There is one female & two males. Maxine is their mom and you can see a picture of her on our website under New Additions and also a picture of the puppies from a few weeks ago. They do great with kids, cats & other dogs.

These puppies will be at Pet Supplies PLUS in Howell this Saturday 6/16 from 11-3. Pre adopt forms can be filled out on line at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shepherd Mix Female, a Howell Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Howell, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
