Casper's Story...
This 1.5 - 2 year old wonderful boy is a very gentle soul who will make a wonderful family member, companion or therapy dog. He loves other dogs, children and adults. He is happy sleeping in his crate night or day. He is doing well with his on and off leash training. This wonderful guy is 74 lbs. of pure love. Seeing that we just lost our beloved Great Dane Bigland with whom he looked very similar to...this nice size boy really has carved a place in our heart....and he will carve one in yours as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a El Cajon Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
