My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- I’m Kandy! I am a short hair tortishell calico kiten. I was at a high kill shelter with my 3 siblings, with just hours left to live at the hands of shelter workers and thankfully the good people at A4A were able to pull us to safety just in time! Phew, that was close! I was covered in ticks, fleas and worms and I was starving. Now, thanks to A4A, I am happy, healthy and spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLv, housetrained/litterbox trained and treated with a monthly preventative for ear mites, fleas and worms. I am approx. 12-13 weeks old (end of June 2012). I feel great! I am lots of fun, I love to play, do great with other cats/kittens and I like to be petted too. I am patiently waiting to find a loving, forever home to call my very own- I promise to love you lots and lots, forever!!!
