Lily's Story...
Lily and 7 siblings are members of yet another unwanted litter here in the south. That's the result of no spay/neuter laws here in rural E. Tennessee. Lily's mom is a boxer/lab mix and her dad is a German shepherd. Lily is now 5 mo. old, has had 3 parvo/distemper shots, a rabies and bordatella vaccine and has been wormed several times. She will be spayed prior to adoption too. Lily is friendly, but shy when she first meets you and is fostered in a home with 4 children. All she needs now is a forever home.

Lily will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time.

Pups this age cannot be left alone for over 3hrs. at a time. This requirement aids in housebreaking and bonding with your dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Providence German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Providence, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
